Turning Research Into Care That Families Trust
EVIDENCE IN ACTION
We partner with communities to design mental health solutions that reflect lived experience, cultural context, and the realities of family life so that care isn’t just effective, it’s embraced.

We develop scalable mental health interventions grounded in evidence, culture, and collaboration. From South Florida to East Africa, our work strengthens youth mental health, engages fathers, and equips future leaders through research that’s made to move.
Our Focus Areas
Youth & Families
We design and test prevention programs that strengthen family relationships and promote youth mental health and well-being before problems emerge.
Fathers & Caregivers
We address father and caregiver mental health to enhance youth outcomes, building support systems that reduce intergenerational risk and strengthen family resilience.
Community Engaged Implementation
We partner with communities to co-design and deliver interventions that are relevant, culturally responsive, and sustainable in real-world settings.
Intervention & Scaling Research
We apply implementation science to develop and refine treatments with proven impact, building models that can be adapted and scaled across diverse communities.
How We Build What Works
At Raise Family Lab, our approach blends cutting-edge research with grounded, community-led action. We use implementation science, intervention development, and cultural adaptation to ensure that what’s built with communities is relevant, scalable, and sustainable. Every initiative begins with listening: understanding what youth and families need, what’s already working, and what would feel like real support in real life.

Research & Interventions
THE LATEST
Each study is designed with a clear endgame: to inform action, improve systems, and make mental health support more accessible and relevant. Our projects aim to close the gap between evidence and practice, building toward interventions that can be implemented, tested, and trusted across cultures and generations.
